Regulators, manufacturers, pharmacies and consumers all need to trust a medicine’s history, but each needs different access.
Proposed solution
- Licensing and accounts for participating organisations
- A unique ID for every medicine unit
- Ownership transfers from manufacturer to pharmacy to consumer
- A full audit history of every transfer
- Public lookup so anyone can check a medicine’s recorded history

Scoped / R&D: an MVP plan. A blockchain audit trail was proposed but the final technology was not chosen.
