The full story
The situation
A US tax-resolution firm needed clients’ bank balances, income and cash flow to assess their cases, without chasing paper statements.
What we built
A custom WordPress plugin. Clients connect their bank through Plaid Link, and guests leave their name and email so each connection is tied to a person. Staff see an admin list of connected accounts with account and routing details and balances.
Security and management
- Sensitive data stored encrypted
- Refresh and remove actions for each connection
- Webhook handling and logging
- Search and pagination in the admin view
Next step
The firm then asked for month-by-month deposits. We built a “View Deposits” view with monthly totals. It needs Plaid’s Transactions product enabled on the account before it can go live.
