The challenge
Acting on new Binance listings by hand was too slow.
What we built
- WebSocket listener for Binance announcements with reconnect and backoff
- Token check against CoinGecko and Bybit before any order
- Redis de-duplication, a pending queue and Telegram alerts
The full story
The situation
When Binance announces a new listing, prices move fast. Doing it by hand (read the news, find the token, check it’s on Bybit, place the order) was too slow and error-prone.
What we built
A Go service that keeps a WebSocket connection to Binance announcements. It filters listing news, extracts the token, checks it against CoinGecko and Bybit, and places the configured order on Bybit.
Built to keep running
- Reconnects with backoff, without treating a quiet feed as a dead connection
- Redis de-duplication so the same announcement isn’t traded twice
- A pending queue for tokens announced before Bybit lists them
- Telegram alerts and raw-message logs for easy monitoring
Deployment
Docker on a Linux VPS, and also run under PM2 with CloudPanel. Latency and returns are not claimed, because verified figures weren’t available.
